Instagram Diaries: The Food of the French (Part 1)

French. A word that has many faceted meanings that entails the promise of satisfaction. My connection to all things France (pronounced Fe-Rance despite my American college education) begins with my humble connection to the beauty of the language deux annee prochain in boarding school in Switzerland. No confusion though, Swiss and French food are eons apart; just a twist of French influence.

An pseudo avid reader of The New Yorker, I found this critique of the mystique behind French food ravishingly refreshing and representative of my American French Food experience thus far. Why can't we let go of the myth of French Food?

Because its orgasmic French ?

Last month's guilty pleasure: Menton, Boston.

Some of my favourite courses off the Prix Fixe Menu

Ceci Socca

 Concord Grape Panna Cotta

Delightful nibbles in between courses made for a happy well-fed, well satisfied girl.

 Candied cherries, caramel slice

 Mini assorted macarons

Bisous,

S
